Mr. Willy Aissi is also the Chairman and CEO of SkyMax Network.
As the promoter of SkyMax Broadband Wireless Networks, he developed SkyMax technical, business, operational, marketing and deployment specifications and plans needed to launch SkyMax in MEA , to apply for licenses in over 10 African Countries and to help close the digital divide across developing nations. He has over 23 years of telecom experience working for various equipment providers and service providers.
Previously, Mr. Willy Aissi served as Chief network architect for Time Warner, a U.S. company with $29 billion in 2016 revenue. He was the first engineer hired by TWC to architect and lead the development and the operation of one of the first carrier grade Voice-over-Internet networks (Digital phone network) in U.S. where he pioneered the introduction of the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) technology into the U.S cable industry and played a critical role in setting the direction of Time Warner Cable's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) strategy. Led the development of Fixed & Mobile Convergence (FMC) networks for voice, data and IPTV as well as wireless 4G (LTE, WiMax) with a focus on 5G network and Service Delivery Platform (SDP). Mr. Willy Aissi secured a US patent # 8516529 on new methods to transfer heavy contents on LTE networks without affecting customer experience.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Willy Aissi was Technical Expert for Internet Dial Access and Voice Over IP solutions at Cisco, where he provided sale support to Account teams serving SBC, Sprint, Telemar (Brazil) and served as leader in development of voice communication infrastructure architecture. He was also an Executive Director for network engineering and operation at Iridium and a project leader and senior software engineer for class 5 and GM switches at Siemens Stromberg.
